Markus Eisenbichler is currently the "man of the hour" in the Continental Cup. The German was the best in almost all events in this competition series over the last couple of weeks. FIS Ski Jumping spoke to him on his way home from Wisla (POL), where he won on Sunday.

FIS Ski Jumping: Congratulations on your win in Wisla today. This was your fourth victory in the last five competitions. You are now a serial winner in the COC.

Markus Eisenbichler: Yes, thank you. I'm actually very satisfied, also with my jumps and my shape at the moment. There's still room for improvement, but I can jump very relaxed right now, I must say.

FIS Ski Jumping: We knew before that you can ski jump, but did you change anything since Lillehammer?

Eisenbichler: Yes, I made some adjustments to the physical training and during the whole summer this went really well. In summer I took a bit of a different approach, which paid off pretty soon. Then it was just a matter of time, I would say, until I can finally show this in the competitions. Now I'm really happy that it worked so well for me this fall.

FIS Ski Jumping: In Stams Stefan Kraft said that, with the level you are jumping on right now, you could also win in the Grand Prix. This must be good for the self confidence.

Eisenbichler: I was very happy, that a world class athlete like Stefan Kraft, who has been so successful in the World Cup already and won the 4-Hills-Tournament, said something like this. It was also a bit of an honor. We will see in Klingenthal, whether I can win in the summer Grand Prix or not. Right now I'm really relaxed and we'll see what happens. I don't feel any pressure.

FIS Ski Jumping: Will you go to Klingenthal right away for the COC there, or will you also compete in the Grand Prix in Hinzenbach?

Eisenbichler: As far as I know I'll go to Klingenthal for the COC, take part in the first competition there and we'll see how it goes. Maybe I will skip the second competition and focus on the summer Grand Prix. I will decide this together with the coaches later.

FIS Ski Jumping: Thank you very much for the interview and all the best for the next competitions.
