Good news for ski jumping in Switzerland. In a citizen's decision 55 % voted in favor of building a new hill in the traditional winter sports resort.

The old Olympic hill, which was closed for safety reasons in 2006, will be replaced by a HS 109 normal hill, construction is expected be completed by the 2015/16 season. In addition, three smaller hills will be built as well. The total costs of the project are amounting to 11.5 million CHF.
