If everything goes well, and that can be expected with an experienced athlete like Noriaki Kasai, then the Japanese will provide a very special highlight at the World Cup competition in Titisee-Neustadt on March 12th.

Kasai, before the weekend in Wisla (POL) with outstanding 497 World Cup starts, will compete in a World Cup event for the 500th time on Saturday in Titisee-Neustadt.

500 World Cup starts in ski jumping are a unique and impressive figure.

His currently eighth place in the overall World Cup proves that it's not only about a huge number of starts for Kasai. The 43-year-old is jumping on the highest level also this season and is a regular on the podium among the world's best ski jumpers.

It seems that Kasai mastered numerous changes of the technique and the equipment easily during the course of his career. With his characteristic ease Kasai competes in the World Cup and enthuses spectators and experts all around the world.

The fact that Kasai always remained a gentlemen and a down-to-earth athlete further adds to his enormous popularity.
