Peter Prevc again "Athlete of the Year"

Peter Prevc received another big award this year: He was voted "Athlete of the Year 2016" in his home country of Slovenia.

The 24-year-old, who won the 4-Hills-Tournament, the overall World Cup title, Gold at the Ski Flying World Championships and the Ski Flying World Cup last winter, won this title already for the fourth time in a row now.

Peter Prevc won the vote among Slovenian sports journalists with 266 votes ahead of sailor Vasilij Zbogar (124 votes) and motocross racer Tim Gajser (120 votes). 

Tina Trstenjak (Olympic champion in judo) was voted "Female Athlete of the year", the teams category was won by the Slovenian ice hockey team.
