Peter Prevc dominates Slovenian Championships

A week after the World Cup final, the Slovenian Championships were now held on the large hill in Planica. Peter Prevc took the win in this competition, followed by Anze Lanisek and Nejc Dezman.

Peter Prevc, who also won the final World Cup competition on this hill last Sunday, clearly dominated the event of Saturday and won the title with jumps on 138 m and 139 m and 282.6 points.

Only 17-year-old Anze Lanisek showed jumps on 136 m and 133 m and finished second with 266.7 points, the third place went to Nejc Dezman with 259.5 points (133.5 m and 131.5 m).

SK Triglav I (Dejan Judez, Cene Prevc, Nejc Dezman, Peter Prevc) won the team competition with a total of 990.6 points, followed by SSK Sam Ihan I (Jernej Damjan, Tilen Bartol, Miha Kveder, Gasper Bartol; 853.4 points) and SSK Costella Ilirija (Ziga Mandl, Matija Stemberger, Andraz Pograjc, Matic Kramarsic; 812.4 points).

Katja Pozun was the best in the ladies' competition, also on the large hill, with 120.5 m and 121 m (210.2 points), ahead of Maja Vtic (119.5 m and 120.5 m; 203.0 points) and Spela Rogelj (114.5 m and 118 m; 189.5 points).
