The Russian Ladies Ski Jumping team is currently in Klingenthal (GER) for a training camp. On Tuesday they performed the first jumps on the HS 140 hill.

From Oberstdorf to Klingenthal
Coach Matjaz Triplat: „It is our first time here. We´ve been in Oberstdorf before. I wanted to give the girls some jumps on a big hill now so we came to Klingenthal. The conditions are very good.“While Irina Avvakumova didn´t need any time to adjust, Anastasiya Barannikova and Sofya Tikhonova showed some respect for the big hill. Triplat: „This is no problem. They have to get used to the hill. The last few jumps where pretty good from all the girls.“

Avvakumova had fun
Avvakumova enjoyed it anyway: „This hill is really fun.“Matjaz Triplat is happy with how the preparations for the new season are going: „The Grand Prix was really good for us. Irina on second place is great. And we have had up to six girls in the top 30. We are on a good shape.“
