Too much wind in Chaikovsky -

Due to the strong wind, the men's individual competition at the FIS Grand Prix in Chaikovsky (RUS) had to be canceled on Sunday afternoon.

At first, the jury postponed the starting time of the event from 12 pm CET (3 pm LOC) to 2 pm CET. Then the competition could begin, but only five athletes got to jump in over an hour.

After yet another long break, the decision to cancel the competition was finally made at 3:20 pm CET. The conditions did not improve and so a fair competition was not possible on the HS 140 hill this afternoon.

The next stop of the FIS Grand Prix is Rasnov (ROU), where two individual competitions will be held on September 22nd and 23rd.
