Vincent Descombes Sevoie was the best in the French national championships on the normal hill in Courchevel.

The 32-year-old, who equalled his career-best result with a 28th place in the overall World Cup this winter, took the title with 96 m and 95.5 m and a total of 270.2 points.

The second place went to 15-year-old talent Jonathan Learoyd with jumps on 93.5 m and 96.5 m and 266.0 points. The third place went to Ronan Lamy Chappuis, who scored 264.7 points with 99 m and 89.5 m.

With 14-year-old Mathis Contamine in fourth another very young athlete came in among the best, he was followed by nordic combined skier Francois Braud and Paul Brasme in fifth and sixth. 

The ladies' competition was surprisingly won by only 14-year-old Lucile Morat with 92.5 m and 98 m and 241.6 points, ahead of Julia Clair (87 m / 95 m; 235.9 points) and Josephine Pagnier (86 m / 88.5 m; 216.9 points). Coline Mattel missed the podium in fourth with 213.4 points.
