World Cup calendar - Lillehammer replaces Nizhny Tagil
The International Ski Federation FIS official announced the replacement for the canceled ski jumping competitions in Nizhny Tagil (RUS). As published by the FIS today, the two FIS Men's World Cup events will be held on the HS 138 large hill in Lillehammer (NOR) on December 10th and 11th, 2016.
The venue in Russia was removed from the men's World Cup calendar because a required wind net was not installed and prize money for the athletes was not paid on time.
Today's decision means that Lillehammer wll host the ski jumping World Cup twice during the upcoming winter season. Besides the new date in December, Lillehammer is also one of the venues of the new RAW AIR series of the Norwegian Ski Association. During this RAW AIR, a World Cup ski jumping event will take place in the host city of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games on March 14th, 2017.

Competition 1, December 10th, 2016, HS 138 - 4:00 pm CET
Competition 2, December 11th, 2016, HS 138 - 3:00 pm CET
Ladies compete in Nizhny Tagil
The two ladies competitions on the normal hill will take place as originally planned on the second weekend in December.
