The gold medals in the two individual events at the Youth Olympic Winter Games 2016 in Lillehammer went to Slovenia.

The men's competition was won by 17-year-old Bor Pavlovcic, who celebrated a successful World Cup debut late January in Sapporo with finishing 26th and 16th after good results in the COC. He showed the best jumps in both rounds on 101 m and 99 m and took the Gold with 262.8 points. "Winning Gold here is the biggest moment of my career so far", said Pavlovcic.

Norway's Marius Lindvik, 32nd in his World Cup debut in Lillehammer last December, jumped on 98.5 m and 94 m and won the silver medal with his total of 251.0 points.

The third place went to Jonathan Siegel of Germany with jumps on 98.5 m and 90.5 m and 236.0 points.

Masamitsu Ito of Japan came in fourth and missed the podium by only 1.3 points. Behind French Jonathan Learoyd (5th), Casey Larson of the USA and Finland's Andreas Alamommo tied for sixth.

The favorite came out on top in the ladies' competition. Ema Klinec, who achieved already three podium results in this World Cup season, posted jumps on 95 m and 96 m and scored 249.3 points. “Winning gold is fantastic, but I’m always just trying to go further than ever", Klinec is quoted on lillehammer2016.com.
