After the two wins in the individual competitions, Slovenia took the third gold medal in the third ski jumping event at the Youth Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer.

In the mixed team competition, with teams consisting of one male ski jumper, one female ski jumper and a nordic combined athlete, the two gold medalists in the individual, Bor Pavlovcic and Ema Klinec, and Vid Vrhovnik took a clear win with 709.5 points.

“Being in such a small country, we are able to stay connected and support one another. That is an advantage we have. We have a really good organization and some great skiers to learn from. I met Peter Prevc not long ago and that was really nice. He is the best, so everyone knows him and looks up to him. Ema is doing great, too. We help one another; she is a great skier. I’m very happy to win today", Bor Pavlovcic explains the secret of the Slovenian success on lillehammer2016.com.

Silver went to Germany, represented by the bronze medalists of the individual competition, Jonathan Siegel, Agnes Reisch and Tim Kopp, gold medalist in nordic combined, with a total of 675.5 points.

Austria, with Clemens Leitner, Julia Huber and Florian Dagn, was second, close ahead of Germany after the first round. At the end the team took the bronze medal with 666.7 points.
