Last weekend was a pretty busy one for the Austrian raceboarders who competed – alongside some other international athletes – for their national titles in the parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom event.

120 snowboarders entered the slopes in Hochficht with four big names coming out successfully.

In the parallel slalom, Olympic gold and bronze medallists Julia Dujmovits and Benjamin Karl took home the honour.

Dujmovits won the big final against Ina Meschik while Karl became the best ranked Austrian as second right behind Slovenian top gun Rok Marguc.

In the parallel giant slalom, veteran Claudia Riegler topped her outstanding season of a world championships title, a World Cup win and her career's 300th start with the pgs title at the age of 41 edging off Sabine Schoeffmann to the second rank.

In the men's competition, it was Sebastian Kislinger claiming the gold beating Lukas Mathies in the big final.
