Back-to-back EC wins for Schoeffmann

Sabine Schoeffmann (AUT) has crowned herself queen of Lenzerheide winning both Europa Cup parallel slalom events staged in the Swiss resort last weekend.

Having also won the last two editions of the Audi Snowboard Series race on the Crappa Grossa slope bacj in 201 and 2015, the 23-year-old from St. Veit now also clinched the 2016 double event.

On Saturday, the national team member edged off reigning Olympic pgs champion Patrizia Kummer (SUI) to the second rank. On Sunday, Eri Yanetani (JPN) had no chance against the racer from Austria.

In the men's event, Edwin Coratti came out successful of the first psl race while the Italian also placed second on Sunday crossing the finish line behind of Stefan Baumeister from Germany (photo).

Coratti now leads the psl Europa Crup ranking ahead of Baumeister while Schoeffmann moved up to third position in the standings which are still led by Nadya Ochner (ITA) who didn't survived the qualifier cut in Lenzerheide.
