Over the last couple of days, the German Championships in both disciplines, parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom were scheduled at Götschen.

The open events attracted quite a bunch of big names from other countries which led to some tight and thrilling races.

On Friday night, the parallel slalom was on the programme with Weronika Biela (POL) and Edwin Coratti (ITA) claiming victory under the lights.

But it were Cheyenne Loch and Alexander Bergmann taking the honour and the German psl title as best placed riders from Snowboard Germany ranking fifth and second respectively.

In today's parallel giant slalom it was Selina Joerg (GER) keeping the momentum from her Winter Universiade silver winning the women's final against Julie Zogg – and the title.

In the men's competition Edwin Coratti celebrated a back-to-back win while runner-up Patrick Bussler earned the German pgs title.
