Special way of public bib draw: The top-16 men and ladies of the PGS World Cup had to showcase their skills on ice in Rogla tonight in order to receive their starting bib for tomorrow's second parallel giant slalom of the season.

After a normal lottery for the world's best raceboarders in Carezza, Italy, at the opener of the FIS Alpine World Cup season and a bib toss in the thermal bath and casino in Bad Gastein, Austria, last weekend, the Slovenian host of the pen-ultimate parallel event of this winter and thus the last qualifier for the up-coming 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, had a special idea.

The carving specialist were asked on ice and play some hockey to earn their start number.

The last pre-Olympic check on the Jasa slope will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, Jan 18, with the qualifiers tomorrow at 9:30 AM CET. The finals are scheduled for 1:30 PM CET.
