Ekaterina Khatomchenkova and Mirko Felicetti have claimed victory in the first of two parallel races of the Europa Cup tour currently staged in Rogla, Slovenia.

In the final pgs competition of the 2015-16 EC season, which featured a lot of riders from the World Cup tour, the Russian racer edged off Switzerland's Larissa Gasser to the second rank in the women's final.

2015 world champion Claudia Riegler (AUT) held the upper hand over 2015 World Cup title winner Julie Zogg (SUI) in the battle for third.

In the men's final head to head duel, Felicetti, one of the strong rising stars from the Italian alpine snowboard team, crossed the finish line ahead of Rok Marguc who had descended on his home resort with a lot of self-confidence due to back-to-back wins at the Europa Cup in Gerlitzen, Austria a few days ago.

Sang-ho Lee (KOR) rounded out the podium as third with Maurizio Bormolini (ITA) forced to settle with fourth.

Full results of the the last EC pgs event can be viewed here.

Athletes will perform on the Jasa slope, home of the World Cup races from last January, on March 24th again, when a parallel slalom is slated to take place.

The Europa Cup parallel tour will close out in Racines, Italy on March 26th and 27th with a double psl event.
