Ina Meschik (AUT) and Rok Marguc (SLO) have claimed victory in the second Europa Cup parallel giant slalom race which was staged in Gerlitzen, Austria today.

Meschik, who had lost the national title battle against Sabine Schoeffmann yesterday finishing third in the first race edged off Swiss racer Julie Zogg to the second rank while yesterday's triumphant rider Schoeffmann jumped on the podium as third after crossing the finish line ahead of Ladina Jenny (SUI) in the small final.

In the men's event, Marguc was able to celebrate a back-to-back win by holding the upper hand on Sang-Ho Lee from South Korea with French racer Sylvain Dufour finishing in third position just like yesterday.

The last two stops of the Europa Cup series will take place within the coming week featuring a pgs and psl event in Rogla, Slovenia on March 23rd and 24th while Racines, Italy is slated to wrap things up with two parallel slaloms on March 26th and 27th.
