Canada Snowboard's very own Michael Lambert seems to be well-prepared for the FIS Parallel World Cup opener in Carezza, which will take place in just a few days on Dec 13 and 14.

The 27-year-old alpine snowboarder celebrated back-to-back wins at Europa Cup event at Hochfügen, Austria, where two parallel giant slaloms had been staged.

The rider from Toronto, Ontario, thus underlined his ascending form curve coming from some round of 16 finishes at the Nor Am Cup in Copper Mountain just a few weeks ago winning the first race last saturday against Germany's Alexander Bergmann and Sunday's contest against Russia's Stanislav Detkov.

The first race on the women's side was won by Ekaterina Tudegesheva (RUS) who edged off Selina Jörg (GER) to second position.

In the second race, Anke Karstens came out successfully completing a strong German weekend with three podium finishes.
