Sigi Grabner starts new 'challenge' and how to-web series
Challenges go viral right now. The most people on facebook or twitter might have heard of the IceBucketChallenge or have even been nominated to accept the challenge. A few days ago, Sigi Grabner jumped the bandwagon with a magic trick he learned in Japan years ago and asked his team riders to do it like him: to fold a t-shirt in two seconds.
“Actually, it was just a gag,” the snowboard icon, who retired last year, said. “I know this trick for quite a while now, so this is why we thought 'why not starting a challenge'.”
At least Masaki Shiba (JPN) and Aaron March (ITA) have already performed on facebook.
While this challenge is more or less a joke between friends, the founder of SG Snowboards is also planning a serious clips series for his customers.
“We want to do 30 to 60 seconds 'how to'-pieces where we explain some basics regarding snowboard set-up and also give some tips for the right use of our equipment on the snow.”
The videos will target beginners as well as experts and will most likely cover topics such as snowboard prep, handling of plates, the right set-up for the bindings as well as freeriding tips and much more.
