On April 8 and 9, the Snowboard Team Italia held its nationals for the parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom title in Valmalenco.

On the men's side, Edwin Coratti impressed with some stunning carving as the 2010 Junior World Champion won both titles thus following in the steps of Aaron March who had been triumphing in both races in 2013.

Coratti, a 22-year-old shredder from South Tyrol, relegated Mirko Felicetti and Christoph Mick to second and third in the PGS event.

In the PSL, March and Felicetti rounded out the podium next to Coratti as second and third respectively.

On the women's side of things, the title went to the best ranked Italian riders, and not to the winner of the races itself, which featured some high-class international field.

As Coratti's girl friend Nadya Ochner placed fourth behind of Weronika Biela (POL), Claudia Riegler (AUT) and Julie Zogg (SUI), the 2014 Olympian earned the parallel giant slalom title ahead of Elisa Profanter and Andrea Tribus.

Tribus in contrary stepped on the top spot of the psl podium coming out as fourth and thus best ranked Italian of the second event behind of Michelle Dekker (NED), Riegler and Zogg.

Profanter and Gulia Gaspari were the second and third best female Italians in the parallel slalom.
