Who said a rest day is all about recovery, video control or facebook time?

Today, the hosting nation of the double parallel slalom event in Bad Gastein changed their boards for another means of transportation.

The team of head coach Tom Weniger took some time and drove up to Sportgastein to getting started with a new way to move along.

The race board cracks gave their best while trying out to be a good jockey for dog sledges.

Tomorrow, they all will be back to business with the pen-ultimate pre-Olympic event of the Alpine Snowboard World Cup tour taking place in Bad Gastein on the Buchebenhang. Qualifiers at 9 AM CET, finals at 1 PM.
