  • Vallnord is the first ever Andorran ski resort to host a FIS Snowboard World Cup (snowboard cross race on January 12, 2014).

And for good many good reasons; not only because the organizers have some experience in hosting a mountain bike World Cup stop in the summer time.

It's more that the resort basically has everything you could ask for.

There are tons of possibilities to enjoy your time on the snow due to various types of slopes separated into different sectors.

Vallnord Aracalís is the most alpine sector offering some wild nature and exclusive freeride areas for the most experienced riders.

This Mecca of backcountry fun covers a total of 300 hectares of virgin land with the Creussans chairlift providing a direct access to this area and the DVA-Park where you can practise the use of avalanche victim detectors.

Vallnord Arinsal is the comfort zone as you have the chance to easily return to your hotel without strapping out. Once in the village, there is everything from pubs, restaurants as well as a fast gondola and chair lift which bring you right back on the hill.

The peak of the Alt de la Capa offers pure snowboarding. Arinsal also includes the resort biggest Snowpark with a huge variety of features making Vallnord the leading freestyle resort in Andorra.

Vallnord Pal defines the family sector with some gentle mountain slopes and wooded areas offering some nice runs for beginners as well as a baby club.
