French riders have dominated the snowboard cross event of the FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships in Valmalenco, Italy, today, bringing home four of six medals - including one title.

While Charlotte Bankes led a podium sweep for the Fédération Française de Ski on the women's side with Elisa Ravel and Sarah Devouassoux rounding out the podium as second and third, Ken Vuagnoux crowned the equipe tricolore's day taking home Bronze in the men's competition.

The second best qualifier crossed the finish line right behind of Daniil Dilman (RUS) and dethroned 2013 Junior Worlds champion Lucas Eguibar (SPA).

While it was the fifth snowboard Gold for Russia at the second ever combined FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard Junior World Championships since 2010 in Otago, New Zealand, Bankes secured the first one for her home country.
