Due to the outstanding season with one victory and one second rank plus several other attendances in the finals, the World Cup rooster has been officially extended.

Besides Konstantin Schad, who won the season's finals in Valmalenco, Italy, veteran David Speiser, who earned another Silver to his belt in Blue Mountain, Canada as well as Maximilian Stark, who missed the podium as fourth in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, four more riders will get their chance on World Cup level.

Three more men and one more woman will travel the world from next winter on.

While Martin Noerl, Paul Berg and Andreas Fischle will battle for one or two spots in the World Cup rooster, Luca Berg will compete the whole women's season.

The 19-years-old National Champion is the only German female on tour. The last lady trying her best on World Cup level was Gesine Sahlfeld who stopped active racing in 2009.

However, the team – except of Stark (meniscus) and Noerl (Ankle), who are both working on their recovery right now – had underwent a week of extensive cycling at Lake Garda (photo) in order to lay the groundwork for some further fitness and acrobatics training following over the course of the next weeks.

End of July will bring another mountain bike camp where even the currently injured riders will be able to take part in before the squad heads to Saas-Fee, Switzerland, in September for some first on snow training.
