Lindsey Jacobellis (USA) and Christopher Robanske (CAN) have posted the best times in today's time trials for the season's second FIS Snowboard World Cup snowboard cross staged in Lake Louise, Aleberta.

The three-time World Champion mastered the 1,100 metres long course built by Jeff Ihaksi (CAN) in 1:11.47 thus edging off Dominique Maltais (CAN, 1:11.53), Luca Berg (GER, 1:12.31) and Isabel Clark Ribeiro (BRA, 1:12.42) to second, third and fourth respectively who will all lead one of the four knock out heats in tomorrow's finals scheduled for 1:30 PM MST (9:30 PM CET).

On the men's side of things, Robanske flew down the course in 1:07.60 once again claiming race bib #1 on home soil – a good sign as last time he did so the 24-year-old took home Gold and the glory at Blue Mountain.

But Konstantin Schad (GER, 1:08.08), Robert Fagan (CAN, 1:08,13) and Lucas Eguibar (SPA, 1:08.19) all seem capable of playing a major role in the finals, too.

The finals will be broadcasted live on universalsports.com and Eurosport2.
