He is one of the highest decorated snowboard cross riders in the world. Nate Holland has won a total of six X-Games Gold medals, five of them in a historic five-peat.

The 34-year-old from Squaw Valley, CA, earned two Bronze at FIS Snowboard World Championships (2007 and 2011) and won five World Cup races with a total of 15 World Cup podium finishes in his career so far.

What is still missing, is an Olympic medal.

After crashing in the quarter finals of the 2006 Torino Olympics, the fan of the Cincinnati Bengals came close to fulfil his dreams in Vancouver 2010, just to fall again, this time in the finals ending up in fourth position.
