As The Telegraph reports, Zoe Gillings-Brier, a three-time Olympian from the Isle of Man, has started a shaving business in order to fund her route to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, Korea.

At PoundShaveClub customers can join a razor shaving plan.

The 29-year-old said on telegraph.co.uk: “It's a bit different from the usual route of getting sponsorships or something similar, but I thought I'd go down a business route and now I'm really interested in it.”

Her turn into a business woman became necessary after the British snowboarder had lost her UK sport funding after missing the Sochi finals.

But newly-wed Gillings-Brier, no stranger to online start-ups, always knew that you have to be creative to get sponsorships. “You can only train for a few hours a day and then your body needs a rest, so when I rest my body I can use my mind,“ she told The telegraph.
