Star of the hit MTV show Over the Bolts, Michael Lambert is often known for his high level of energy.
Coming from a sport-orientated family, Lambert started snowboarding after his father confiscated his skis for going too fast.
And looking back, the rider from Toronto, Ontario as well as his national team shoul dbe grateful for that move.
Ever since his first World Cup start on Dec 17, 2005 at Le Relais, Switzerland, Lambert has earned two World Cup Podiums including a victory (Nednaz, Switzerland, 2010) and a silver medal (Telluride, USA, 2009).
In addition, the alpine snowboarder brought home a Silver medal from the 2006 FIS Junior World Championships staged in Korea (PGS).
When the snow melts, the 2010 Olympian is always eager to get back to his passion, sailing, which he races competitively, but was shelved temporarily to focus on his goal to compete at the Winter Olympic Games in 2010 and 2014.
Lambert retired after the Sochi Games where he placed 27th (PGS) and 16th (PSL).
