Mirabelle Thovex started snowboarding when she was eight years old because she wanted to do what her sister did.
Seven years later, the young rider from La Clusaz who loves to travel joined the French national team and has been part of the equipe tricolore ever since.
The 2010 Olympian (rank 20) has brought home one World Cup podium so far finishing second in Bardonecchia 2011.
Just one month later, she took Bronze at the Junior World Championships in Valmalenco.
Right now, the self-proclaimed shy person (“although I can speak a lot too”) is aiming to participate in her career's second Olympics.
