Jamie Anderson rules slopestyle course at Copper Mountain
Anderson, a 23-year-old rider from South Lake Tahoe, CA, came out first of today's qualifiers earning a sensational score of 96.00.
However, the U.S. Snowboarding Pro team member can't be too sure of another Gold as Switzerland's very own Isabel Derungs was not that far away with 94.00.
Enni Rukajarvi (FI) was the third lady from heat one to get into the 90s with 92.66 thus also earning her spot in the finals of the top 8.
The other five ladies to showcase their skills next Sunday at 11 AM MST (7PM CET) are Elena Koenz as fourth of heat 1 (82.00) plus heat 2 qualifiers Sarka Pancochova (CZE, 88.66), Cheryl Mass (NED, 86.00), Jessika Jenson (USA, 85.00) and Ty Walker (84.66) who had edged off Erika Menne (FIN) with the tiny mere of .33 to the fifth rank of heat 2 and thus out of the finals.
