In the ladies slopestyle finals, Swiss style queen Petrig, who had placed eighth in the halfpipe event at her first ever Winter Universiade, dominated the field with 90.25 relegating Courtney Cox (USA, 80.25) and Marion Haerty (FRA, 77.75) to the second and third rank, respectively.

In the men's competition, Horak, also a newbie at the student games, who had finished in 15th position in the halfpipe contest six days ago, scored a 92.00 edging off Piotr Janosz (POL, 87.75) to the runner-up position. Martin Mikyska (CZE, 82.25) rounded out the podium as third.
