Facing perfect conditions and a demanding set-up at the Austrian Slopestyle Championships at the 'Boarders Playground' in Westendorf, Birgit Rofner and Simon Pircher were able to clinch the national title.

Rofner led a Tyrolean podium sweep with her team mates Katrin Wegscheider and Bettina Wildauer taking second and third.

On the men's side, Pircher got only beaten by British styler Rowan Coultas and claimed the title as second and thus best ranked Austrian.

Philipp Kundratitz and Clemens Millnauer rounded out the National Championship podium as second and third respectively.

It was the first ever co-sanctioned event of OESV and N.asa (New Austrian Snowboard Association).

The second co-sanctioned competition will take place on the up-coming weekend in Kühtai where the best Austrian halfpipe rider will be crowned as national champion.

On 29 of March, the Big Air Nationals will take place at the 'Haus Moasters 5'.
