Some of world's finest alpine snowboarders will check their form at the Europa Cup at Hochfügen, Tyrol this up-coming weekend.

The first race board events in Europe follow up four Nor Am Cups which were hosted at Copper Mountain, CO, a few weeks ago.

However, the two parallel giant slaloms are the perfect preliminary for the Alpine Snowboarding World Cup opener at Carezza, Italy, which will take place Dec 13 thru 14.

As a result, more than 200 athletes, including World and Olympic Chapions from 16 nations have already registered making the pgs events one of the biggest European winter sport events.
