Good bye summer camp of Austrian Snowboard Team
The Austrian snowboarders have sound the bell for the hot and intense preparation phase for the lead up to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games over the last couple of weeks.
To wrap up the summer, the Austrian parallel athletes went to a fitness training camp in Burgenland.
Compared to the last season, head coach Tom Weninger welcomed a bigger team as four riders joined up with the more experienced athletes.
Due to their good Europacup results, Carinthians Tanja Brugger, Alexander Payer and Johann Stefaner as well as Styrian Sebastian Kislinger are also part of the World Cup team from now on.
Their four new team mates were also part of the squad coming together at the Landessportzentrum in Steinbrunn.
Only veteran Sigi Grabner and Toni Unterkofler, who recently became a father, were missing.
The World Cup team consists of six women (Tanja Brugger, Julia Dujmovits, Marion Kreiner, Ina Meschik, Claudia Riegler and Sabine Schoeffmann) and ten men (Siegfried Grabner, Benjamin Karl, Sebastian Kislinger, Andreas Lausegger, Lukas Mathies, Alexander Payer, Andreas Prommegger, Johann Stefaner, Anton Unterkofler and Ingemar Walder).
