Anke Karstens (GER) and Stefan Baumeister (GER) have wrapped up their winter season by winning the Parallel Slalom and Parallel Giant Slalom title at the German Nationals which were staged over the last two days at the Goetschen.

Karstens took both title by having the whip hand over team mate Amelie Kober (GER) in both finals of the women's competition which featured a „brand new look“ of the ladies' national rooster.

Karstens, Kober as well as Selina Joerg and Rosa Czipf had been racing in a pink tutu (see photo provided by Christian Veit).

Ramona Hofmeister came out as third best German of both women's competitions placing fifth and fourth.

On the men's side Austria's Johann Stefaner and Sebastian Kislinger won the PSL and PGS race; however, Stefan Baumeister took the title as best ranked German of both competitions by finishing second in the PSL and third in the PGS.

The up-coming talent thus crowned his outstanding season in which he became Bavarian Champion as well as FIS Junior World Champion (PSL) by claiming his first two national titles.
