Ester Ledecka (CZE) and Stefan Baumeister (GER) have won Gold in the Parallel Slalom at the 13th FIS Snowboard World Championships today.

In the second race board event staged in the Turkish Palandoeken Ski Resort in the Erzurum area, Ledecka won her second title at the 2013 event beating Germany's Cheyenne Loch in the big final.

The 17-years-old athlete who will be turning 18 in just 16 days thus became the well-deserved and legal successor of Julie Zogg (SUI) who had won the PSL and PGS title in 2011 and 2012.

Natalia Soboleva (RUS) rounded out the podium as third.

On the men's side, Stefan Baumeister crowned his outstanding performance after having claimed Bronze in the PGS yesterday with his career's first Junior Worlds title winning the battle for Gold against Valery Kolegov (RUS).

It was the fourth Junior Worlds title for Germany and the first since Selina Joerg had clinched the 2008 parallel slalom race.

According to this, the 19-years-old from Feldkirchen was all smiles.

“Today, everything went fine. The conditions were perfect for me and I finally was able to seal the deal,” said Baumeister.

Indrik Trahan (CAN) finished in third position.
