Ledecka and Krebs new PGS Junior World Champions

Ester Ledecka (CZE) and Daniel Krebs (AUT) have won the Junior World Championships title in the parallel giant slalom event which was staged in Erzurum, Turkey, today.

In the Palandoeken Ski Resort, the World Cup experienced rider from the Czech Republic beat Tanja Brugger from Austria in the battle for the title bringing home the first ever Junior Worlds Gold in a race board discipline for her country.

Nadya Ochner (ITA) rounded out the women's podium as third by edging off Germany's Cheyenne Loch in the small final.

On the men's side, Krebs also took his first major event title crossing the finish line ahead of Oleksandr Belinskyy in the big final.

Stefan Baumeister (GER) won his career's third Bronze winning the duel for third against Luca Tresoldi (ITA).
