The last weekend did not only bring a action-packed snowboard cross World Cup in Telluride, Colorado, but also several parallel snowboarding Continental Cups.

Two of them also took place in the US. Steamboat Springs hosted a Parallel Giant Slalom and Parallel Slalom on December 14 and 15.

While Hae-rim Jeong (KOR) in the PGS and Hannah Halsted (USA) in the PSL took the honors on the women's side, it was Justin Reiter (USA) claiming victory in both races on the men's side.

Almost at the same time (Dec 15 and 16), just a few thousands miles away to the East, Ratschings, Italy, hosted two Parallel Slaloms where almost everyone who is anyone of the European elite in race boarding took part in.

Reigning PSL World Champion Hilde-Katrine Engeli (NOR) as well as Natalia Soboleva (RUS) underlined their early form.

On the men's side, Aleksandr Belkin (RUS) and Roland Fischnaller (ITA) took home won win each.
