Jenny Jones and Enni Rukajarvi top women qualifiers
High class riding at World Cup debut of Spindleruv Mlyn
The FIS Snowboard World Cup tour saw a promising debut of the first ever Czech resort to host a World Cup event.
The women's qualifiers for this season's second Slopestyle World Cup kicked off things at Spindleruv Mlyn today, and the girls were ripping the course in the Giant Mountains with two big names coming out first of their heats.
Jenny Jones (GBR) and Enni Rukajarvi (FIN) took the top spots with 89 points and 92.33 points respectively.
As a result, both are the top favourites for the finals which will be staged on Saturday at 1:30 PM CET.
Both will meet Shelly Gotlieb (NZE) and Silje Norendal (NOR) in the battle for Gold, Silver and Bronze who qualified second in their heats with 83.66 points and 87.66 points respectively.
However, ten girls will also fight for the last two remaining spots in the finals tomorrow when the semis will take place at 10:30 AM CET.
