DSV continues its partnership with ARD & ZDF
The German Ski Association (DSV) and SportA, the rights management arm of the German public service broadcasters ARD and ZDF, have reached an agreement to extend their cooperation concerning the FIS World Cup rights in Germany for four seasons from the 2011/12 season onwards.
Thanks to the extension, the German public can continue to follow the entire DSV portfolio of FIS World Cup events, across all six FIS Olympic disciplines, on the two main German channels ARD and ZDF. This includes such Classics as the Four-Hills-Tournament and the Audi FIS Ski World Cup races in Garmisch-Partenkirchen as well as the City Event on New Year's Day in Munich, among others.
Parallel to the agreement with DSV, SportA also extended its contract with Infront Sports &Media to broadcast FIS World Cups outside of Germany.
