Sign up now for GAP2011 Right To Play Charity Race

A charity race featuring ski legends supporting the international, humanitarian organization Right To Play will take place on Friday, February 18th during the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The event is supported by FIS, GAP2011 and the EBU's marketing partner Tridem Sports, and it will be run on the lower section of the Kandahar race hill immediately after the men's giant slalom title competition.

12 teams set up by companies and corporations in exchange for a starting fee will be completed by a skiing legend and will compete in a parallel relay format. The charity race will give the public the opportunity to see their former favorite ski champions in action again and who will put on a great show for the spectators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for keen skiers to actively participate in the FIS World Championships and to experience first-hand the Kandahar race course, as well as making a valuable contribution to a good cause.

Proceeds will in its entirety go towards the work of Right To Play and there are still spaces for teams to sign up. Companies or a group of friends - everyone is welcome to participate!
