Austrian dominance on the Poland Tour It’s three out of three for Thomas Morgenstern so far this summer. Within just one week, Morgenstern won in Wisla, Szczyrk and Zakopane during the FIS Grand Prix summer series in Ski Jumping. With his victory in Zakopane, Morgenstern clearly won the overall ranking of the first edition of the Poland Tour along with prize money of 5’000 Euro. In Zakopane and Szczyrk, the Austrian was joined on the podium by his teammate Gregor Schlierenzauer and the Polish hope Kamil Stoch. "I'm very satisfied, it was a good competition. I saw from the top of the hill how many fans came today. I'm working very hard and I'm in a good shape, physically and technically," he said. The start of the summer series has been extremely successful for the Austrian Ski Team which also won the first team competition in Zakopane on Friday. In Saturday's individual competition the biggest challenge to Austria came from Poland. Morgenstern now leads the overall Grand Prix rankings with the maximum of 300 points ahead of Gregor Schlierenzauer (220 points) who plans to skip all competitions until October. Kamil Stoch (149 points) is ranked third.
