Niklas Carlsson new Secretary General in Sweden Niklas Carlsson has been appointed as acting Secretary General of the Swedish Ski Association. He succeeds Per Lehmann who is leaving his role after two years in office. "Niklas Carlsson has a solid background and extensive experience as coach, head coach and head of Alpine with the association. He was also a member of the management team for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2007 in Åre and has three years experience as a event and sponsorship manager with FIS," said Mats Årjes, FIS Council Member and President of the Swedish Ski Association. "I am very enthusiastic about this assignment. It is a great challenge to work to develop skiing in Sweden. We expect a great season with many sporting successes and look forward to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 as well as to the candidacy for the Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 with Åre, "said Niklas Carlsson.
