Weather conditions mark biggest challenge in 60th edition of Four-Hills Tournament

Difficult weather conditions during the past Four-Hills Tournament in Ski Jumping 2011/2012 was the number one topic of discussion in the series' spring meeting in Munich on 11th May 2012.
Once a year, the Organizers, representatives of the two organizing National Ski Associations Germany and Austria, marketing partners, TV broadcasters, and service providers come together to strengthen their collaboration and plan for the future.

Last week, FIS Race Director Walter Hofer, the Jury Members received great compliments: "The past season was marked with the greatest challenges with regards to weather conditions in the younger history of the tournament. We have to thank the jury who, with tough decisions, largely contributed to achieving competition results at all four sites," recognized Alfons Schranz, President of the Four-Hills Tournament.

Infront Austria, marketing partner of the series, along with German and Austrian television channels ARD, ZDF and ORF, once again emphasized the particular significance of the event: "The Four-Hills Tournament is a premium product, which casts tens of million spectators into its spell every year," underlined Michael Witta, Managing Director of Infront Austria.
