Action packed 10th edition of Swiss Ski Freestyle night
Swiss Ski celebrated the tenth year of its spectacular “freestyle night” held on 14th July in Mettmenstetten (SUI). As well as offering a great show for the public to enjoy and appreciate the athlete’s skills, the event provides a welcome high-level opportunity to assess preparations and new tricks for the coming season.
In this year’s 10th edition of Swiss Ski’s Freestyle Night, a mixture of aerials, snowboard, freeski and bike events were on the agenda. Over 60 athletes participated in the different categories which included qualification rounds in the afternoon and night finals. Aerials was once again one of the highlights, with the athletes flying up to 18 meters in the air before landing in a specially constructed pool. This was applauded by more than 2,200 spectators.
