200 days to Innsbruck 2012
The 27th June marked the 200-day milestone for the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Seefeld and the Tyrol region of Austria. The official opening ceremony will take place on 13th January 2012.
Preparations are well underway for the Games, as Innsbruck 2012 CEO Peter Bayer explains: "The vision of the Youth Olympic Games is within touching distance, and the whole team is working with incredible enthusiasm. Every single person can feel the fascination of this major sporting event and is living the Olympic Spirit!"
Friday, 1st July is the deadline for two other important Innsbruck 2012 projects, for becoming an Innsbruck 2012 volunteer and for voting for your favorite medal design at Innsbruck 2012.
