FIS Academy parent World Academy of Sport launches new certificate in sport management The World Academy of Sport (WAoS), that also runs the FIS Academy, has announced the appointment of Royal Holloway, University of London as its latest Higher Education Partner and the launch of its Postgraduate Certificate in Sport Management (PGC) through this partnership. The PGC in Sport Management is an exciting program to initiate this partnership as it has been specifically developed for industry professionals looking to further their careers with an industry recognized higher qualification. The first intake of the Certificate is in April 2011 to be run over six months with two, two week workshops and is suited to those who can plan professional development into their work schedules. Chris Solly, Director of WAoS stated that "the Academy is excited to announce its latest (Higher) Education Partnership with Royal Holloway, as the Academy further develops meaningful relationships which contribute to the international sport community and our partner International Federations."
