Irish Ski Federation host 2010 SES Nations Cup For the first time in its history the Ski Federation of Ireland organized a series of FIS races incorporating the Small European Ski (SES) Nations Cup in Valle Ahrntal, Monte Spicco - Speikboden Italy. Over 170 racers representing 39 nations entered the event which comprised eight races, 2 giant slalom and 2 slalom races for male and female. The entries included World Cup racers Sarah Schleper, Resi Stiegler and Hailey Duke from the USA as well as the athletes taking part in the Aid and Promotion training camp. The races were well carried out under the expertise of FIS Technical Delegate Markus Malsiner and Chief of Race Stefan Feichter and his team. Thanks are due to the Italian Ski Federation for permitting the Nations of SES to hold their races in Italy. Although the temperature was low the snow was excellent. The race was attended the Secretary General of FIS, Sarah Lewis who presented prizes together with the President of the SES Nations Paul Michaelides and members of the Irish Ski Federation. We are grateful for the support of our sponsors SUFAG and to all the nations who supported the event, and congratulate Romania, the winning team of the SES Cup 2010. Contributed by Robert Norwood
