FIS MEDIA INFO: Sapporo 2007 - Six Athletes Re-Tested and Cleared to Compete

Sapporo, 26th Feb, 2007/ -- Following a second blood test conducted by FIS today (as per Article FIS B 4.5 of of the Procedural Guidelines to the FIS Anti-Doping Rules), the following Athletes have been cleared to start as of tomorrow, Tuesday 27th February, 2007:

Re-tested and cleared to start as of 27th February

Nordic Combined:
Voronin Konstantin (RUS)
Dmitry Matveev (RUS)
Jochen Strobl (ITA)

Cross-Country:
Alen Abramovic (CRO)
Sergei Dolidovich (BLR)
Reto Burgermeister (SUI)

The other three Athletes that received a start suspension due to too high haemoglobin levels have not yet been re-tested but will be tested in the next days.
