• Change of the starting order for the downhill, super-G and super combined (1st run, i.e. downhill or super-G) events as follows: The best fifteen present competitors of the corresponding event WCSL are drawn between starting numbers 16 to 22 (for WCSL 1 to 7) and 8 to 15 (for WCSL 8 to 15). The remaining athletes up to WCSL 30 are drawn within the start numbers 1 to 7 and 23 to 30.

• Obligation of competitors to be present at the public draws/presentations. If a competitor misses a public draw / presentation without excuse or does not attend in time, they will automatically be enrolled according to their discipline FIS points after start number 45 (the 400 point rule isn't applicable). Additionally, a sanction up to CHF 999 may be pronounced. In case of recurrence, this sanction may be increased to CHF 5'000.

• In the super combined, FIS points will be only awarded for World Cup and European Cup speed events (downhill or super-G) if the competitor completes both runs, i.e. the speed and the technical events that make up the competition.

Please also note that according to the ICR Article 219.1, the prize money for the coming 2007-2008 FIS Alpine World Cup season has been confirmed by the FIS Council in its November 2006 meeting. For Alpine events the amounts will be the same as for the previous season, i.e. the following:

Minimum cash prize per World Cup event: CHF 100,000,- (divided between 1-10)
Minimum cash prize for European Cup events: CHF 2,300,- (divided between 1-10)
